Rutgers Chemistry & Biology - Piscataway, NJ

FLAD Architects designed the exterior facade for the new Rutgers University Chemistry and Biology Laboratory.  The exterior incorporated a terracotta rainscreen and the interior utilized a white Swisspearl® fiber cement panel.  Swisspearl® panels are an excellent choice for interior applications due to their high performance in high-traffic areas.  Classrooms, hallways and the entrance incorporated large-format fiber cement panels.  The panels created a graph pattern on the wall, instead of typical drywall, while providing a high traffic finish.
