The University of New Mexico Lobo Welcome Center, designed by McClain + Yu Architecture & Design, showcases a bold, energy-efficient design defined by Terra5 Terracotta Baguettes used as a vibrant sunscreen façade. These colorful baguettes not only provide thermal shading for curtain wall and glazing elements but also deliver visual depth and regional character. The natural clay material reflects the Southwestern landscape, creating a dynamic façade that shifts with the sun. Cladding Corp played a key role in realizing this architectural vision, blending timeless materiality with modern performance.
