Ingleside at Rock Creek - Washington, DC

Perkins Eastman has designed Ingleside at Rock Creek, a retirement community campus situated within a 16-acre site between Rock Creek Park and DC’s Chevy Chase neighborhood in Washington, D.C. The expansion of the Ingleside at Rock Creek campus includes the new construction of a 240,000 SF, seven-story Independent Living and Assisted Living tower; 98,000 SF, four-story health center; and a connector building with conference, meeting, and administrative space. The project also includes the renovation of the existing 10,000 SF McCracken building, which includes ancillary office space. Made of natural raw materials, Swisspearl fiber cement rainscreen panels were utilized in this project. Swisspearl facades can be easily installed to retrofit or reclad existing structures as well as be effortlessly removed when it is time for a new design direction.
