National Labor College - Silver Spring, MD

Terra5 Louver sunscreens were incorporated in the design by RMJM / Hillier for the National Labor College in Silver Spring, MD. For this design, the west elevation of the campus building features a combination of glass curtainwall and fired-clay terracotta louvers that integrate into the traditional brick façade of the campus.  The elegant louvers screen the building from heat while providing the interior ample natural filtered sunlight.
